A New Day at the Community Center


Happy New Year !!!

July 1st was the first day of our new fiscal year and we have some exciting news !  The Anna Maria Island Community Center is entering the world of social media in a BIG way.  We have launched this website/video/social media and email marketing too:

Save the Center Fund at $72,000 and Growing

Some of our superstars: 

Tony Rappold and Jack Love – raised $43.45 selling lemonade

Grayson Chatt – Currently selling tie-dye tee shirts to benefit the Center

Destiny Shepperson – Currently selling candy with proceeds going to the Center

Our Kids Care about Their Center !!!

The Center will be showcasing our programs and posting our financials – we want you to know how Your Center is doing and the difference we make in the lives of our Community members.

We have some very exciting new programs planned for this Summer and Fall:

  • Tennis camp with Bob Davis
  • Youth and Teen themed summer camps – it’s not too late to sign up !
  • Youth and adult football and youth indoor soccer are all underway and softball is starting up on the 18th.
  • Dragon Boat training and Racing returns in the Fall and we will be adding teambuilding seminars for businesses and civic groups
  • Take a river cruise along the Rhine  in the Fall of  2015 and benefit the Community Center – Call Jennifer (778-1908) or Barbara Murphy at Travel Now 228-2916 to find out more about our cruises.
  • And so much more that I will write about in future blogs…..
